JeffCO 4A 2026 Champs!

Congrats to the girls for winning the Jefferson County 4A championship for the second year in a  row. It is not easy to do it, and I do not take it for granted. The girls have to put every game with purpose, and they have to perform, night in and night out during our entire conference schedule.

This year, the entire conference ultimately hinged on the first game of the conference schedule. Our game against Green Mountain proved pivotal, sensitive, decided who finished first, and who finished as the runner-up. 

But...if we stumbled elsewhere against anyone else we would not have won the conference! We did have one little trip up - against Standley Lake - but that was it...and our main opponents for the league had trip ups, more than we did.

So ultimately we entered the final game of the conference, our rivalry game against neighboring Conifer, with a cushion, and a guarantee to win the league! As it happens we won that game relatively comfortably. Again, I do not take it lightly! Congrats on showing up every game and getting it done!
